The HCT3 Helmet Camera gives operators a compact and versatile camera system that records and/or transmits exactly what the operator sees and hears, making it perfect for dynamic entry as well as sensitive site operations.  The onbarod mini-DVR records video and audio to a 4GB SD card that is included with every unit.  The HCT3 has a combo mounting system which allows the user to choose between rail mount and velcro mount.

Wireless Operation

The system was designed to record audio and video directly to the SD card, but the HCT3 also incorporates a wireless transmitter that allows for short distance transmission or longer distances with the use of a repeater.  The custom DVR also allows for the transmission of recorded material back to any one of our monitoring options.  For operational control and comfort, the transmitter can be enabled or disabled at any time.

Monitoring Options

The HCT3 can be purchased with a choice of several Tactical Electronics monitoring options to take advantage of the wireless viewing capability.  The helmet camera system can transmit a live operation or playback any of the previously recorded files to a monitor.  Click here to view the monitoring options.

Batteries

Most wireless Tactical Electronics camera systems utilize 3V Lithium batteries for operation. The HCT3 Helmet Camera operates over 4 continuous hours on four 3V Lithium batteries.
