Tactical Electronics receives ISO 9001: 2008 Certification

ISO 9001 CertificationTactical Electronics has obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification for our Quality Management System. The company’s entire operations and management systems were thoroughly evaluated in order to receive this certification. British Standards Institution (BSI), a business standards company located in the United Kingdom issued the certification.

“Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been delivered to our customers, through our manufactured goods and provided services for over 15 years. The ISO 9001: 2008 certification reinforces our commitment of quality and the continuous improvement of our products and services,” Mike Dory, Senior Vice President of Operations, said.

The International Standards Organization ensures that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. The organization is made up of 163 countries who are the national standards bodies around the world.

Tactical Electronics decision to pursue the certification was largely customer based. “We have seen an increase in the number of customers requiring an ISO 9001 certified quality system. Investing the time and resources necessary to achieve this certification has further communicated to our customers and partners that we are committed to ensuring their satisfaction in our products and services,” Dory said.
