Belt Pack
The BWV4 Belt Pack provides the means for all the functionality and manipulation of recorded video without the concern of deleting any stored files. The 3.0 inch screen allows for playback of recorded video through simple play, pause, fast forward, and rewind navigation. The belt pack also offers the convenience of viewing real-time video.
Chest Controller
The BWV4 Chest Controller links the head camera to the belt pack. The head camera is attached via safety breakaway cable, which automatically activates the auxiliary chest camera when disconnected. This feature allows for continuous recording if the user becomes involved in a struggle. The chest controller also houses the unit's omni-directional microphone and a one-touch record button for immediate recording.
Head Camera
Mounted directly to the head via various attachments: the BWV4 Head Camera enables the user to record their field of view while operating in a tactical environment. The head camera views and records precisely what the user witnesses. The Sony High-Res HQ1 CCD features a color and b/w auto-switching camera sensor. Whenever the camera senses low light it automatically switches to black and white.
Product Description
The BWV4 Body Worn Video System is an officer worn system designed by the officer for the officer. This unit is complete with a belt pack recorder, chest controller / camera, and a head mounted camera; together, the three components are rugged enough to withstand daily punishment yet capable of capturing the high quality video needed for conviction.
